L’inglese è una lingua con un vocabolario molto più esteso di quello che possa sembrare; oltre al linguaggio base per comunicare e sopravvivere, esiste una vasta gamma di modi di dire, frasi idiomatiche, phrasal verbs ed espressioni in inglese che, di solito, non vengono insegnate né a scuola né in nessuna accademia.
